About the Tribolt Recumbent Trike

The Tribolt Recumbent Trike can be built with only a drill, a hacksaw and a file. It's the easiest to build tadpole trike in the world. No welding is required. Anybody with patience and dedication can produce a fully functional trike. Frame and parts can be made from steel, aluminum, wood, whatever you want to use.

The total costs is targeted at the region of $300 US dollars or Euro; depending on frame materials and bike parts. Especially with donor bike components it can stay well under budget.

The project will take about 30 to 40 hours to have a rolling frame with basic finish.
You can always do touch-ups and add accessories or perhaps a full fairing. Every part is easily replaced, and dimensions can be altered... Just un-bolt and re-bolt. It's that easy!

Please do not expect the end result to be as good as a professionally made trike. But by no means it will be a useless piece of junk. If you do your job right the Tribolt is a fully functional trike well capable of distance touring.
